An educator and coach to his core, Brian Luther was a high school English teacher (for 18 years) and Head Basketball Coach (for 25 years) before moving to the financial services industry, motivated by a desire to help hard working educators protect their family's financial future.
A member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), Brian is an Investment Advisor Representative with Securities America. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Kearney State College (now the University of Nebraska at Kearney) and a Master of Arts in English from Fort Hays State University. He is a member of *Ed Slott’s Elite IRA Advisor Group, an exclusive organization of financial advisors dedicated to being leaders in the IRA industry.
Since transitioning to the financial industry in 2001, Brian’s focus has been on working with teachers, coaches, administrators and their families, and his personal experience ensures he relates to their everyday concerns and recognizes their unique opportunities for financial growth.
Brian and his wife, Tammy, live in Lincoln, Nebraska. Tammy is a retired elementary teacher. They have two daughters. Shara is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy in Omaha, NE, and Chelsea also works for Compass on Brian's team.
